Professional Services

Scope of Practice

Dorrie Lombardi is licensed as:

• Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the State of Florida
• Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LCPC) in the State of Maine

Services are provided in accordance with:

• Florida and Maine state laws and regulations
• American Psychological Association (APA) ethical guidelines
• Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements

Geographic Limitations and Service Delivery

I am licensed to provide services to individuals who are physically located in the State of Florida or the State of Maine at the time of the session. I cannot provide services to individuals located outside of Florida or Maine.

Service Delivery by State:

• Florida (LMHC): In-person and virtual/telehealth sessions available
• Maine (LCPC): Virtual/telehealth sessions only

Telehealth Services

Virtual sessions are available to residents of both Florida and Maine. By participating in telehealth sessions, you acknowledge:

• You understand the limitations and risks of electronic communications
• You are physically located in Florida or Maine during sessions
• You have a private, confidential space for sessions
• Technical difficulties may occur and may require rescheduling

No Guarantees of Outcomes

While I am committed to providing quality mental health services, I cannot guarantee specific therapeutic outcomes. The effectiveness of therapy varies based on many factors, including:

• Individual circumstances and challenges
• Client engagement and participation
• Complexity of presenting issues
• External life factors

Information on this website about EMDR therapy and other treatment approaches represents general information and research findings, not a promise of specific results for any individual.

Fees and Payment

Session Rates

Current fees are listed on the website and may be subject to change. You will be notified of any fee changes before they take effect for established clients.

Cancellation Policy

• 48 hours notice: 50% of session fee
• Less than 24 hours notice: 100% of session fee

Late cancellation and no-show fees are your responsibility and typically not covered by insurance.

Insurance

While I accept several insurance plans, insurance coverage and reimbursement are ultimately the responsibility of the client. You are responsible for verifying your benefits and understanding your coverage limitations.

Good Faith Estimate

Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges for services. Please request this information if you are uninsured or paying out-of-pocket.
